VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?

My personal goals for the year are to perform as well as possible this year for the team. While I do this, I hope to also get good grades in all of my classes, with the intent of getting them to be all A’s. I plan to also help out the team as much as I can and support them fully.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

The most fun I’ve had in the last year was when I went to homecoming. I went with all of my friends and had the best night I have had all year. We walked around and met up with other friends and danced together. Then afterward, we went and drove around and enjoyed the rest of the night messing around.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?

My favorite teacher would have to be Mr. Jenkins, I had him for math in 8th grade, and he moved up to my high school and became my study hall teacher for my remaining years as well as my esports coach. I connect with him very well and have fun conversations, additionally learning a lot of stuff from a variety of topics. I appreciate everything he has done for me, and I’m glad to have had him as my teacher.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

My favorite athletic memory would have to be the time our team won our first game. It was a very memorable moment and was a major boost to our team and our attitudes toward the future ones. It was the first time we were all excited, and it was one of the best memories I have had during my time on the team.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

The teammate that has left the biggest impression would have to be Teagan Martinez. He and I fight each other for who is better all the time, and in the end, we both strive to get better and better. It is kind of like a rivalry, but from time to time, we do help the other and overall make each other better players.

VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?

I truly enjoy being part of the team and seeing how well we work together. My favorite part of it, however, is the times were we go against another team that we know is better than us. We strive to do better and go for the win no matter what. It’s really cool to see, and I am glad to be a part of this team.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?

If I could go anywhere for a vacation, I would go to a beach by the Mediterranean sea. I would take my brother with me as he is someone I am very close to and enjoy being around. It would be great, and we both would enjoy being on vacation.

VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?

I would buy all the alkalis skins in the league, the character I play the most, then buy the whole team’s Akali skins, not because they play her, but so they remember me after I’m kicked off the team. With whatever money is left over, I would give it to my coach Mr. Jenkins as I feel it would be right for everything he has done for our team.

VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?

I’m part of our school’s gaming club because I have an interest in video and board games. I also enjoy talking to all the people there and connecting with them through our similar interests. When I go to college, I plan to get into more clubs and explore more interests.
