VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My personal goals for the year are to apply for scholarships to help pay for college,
have a lot of fun because it’s my last year at home, and make so many memories with
my teammates and friends.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
The most fun I have had in the last year is getting a gold medal at the world baton
twirling championships. As well as placing 6th in my three baton. We competed in
Liverpool, England, and while we were there, we were able to tour London as well.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
My favorite teacher was Ms. Paradis. She was my AP Language Teacher last year, and
her energy was always a great way to start my day.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite athletic memory was when my basketball team my sophomore year had an
undefeated normal season record, and we got second at state
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
The teammate that has left the biggest impression on me- is my best friend Kendyl. We
have grown up playing volleyball together, and she is always there to help encourage
me and celebrate, and help me. We always warm up together and have been partners
since we first started. I can’t believe this is my last year playing with her.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
My favorite part of being on this team is how much fun we have together. No matter if
we win or lose, we have created so many unforgettable memories, and the best part of
my day is going to volleyball to spend time with my teammates.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you
take with you?
If I could live anywhere, I would live in Bora Bora. I love the ocean, and watching the
sunsets and sunrises, and I would love to relax. The scenery is so pretty and I would
love to wake up to that
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you
spend it on?
Church is really important to me, so I would give the first 10% to my church. And I would
save some of it to help pay for college. Then probably go shopping with the rest of it.
VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?
I participate in a lot of community service projects. I volunteer at church every weekend. I perform baton twirling for my community. I volunteered through serve day with the Ark Church. I volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Our basketball team does community service.
