Q&A with Salina South’s Rylan Snell – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Commercial Tire

VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My personal goal this year is to do whatever I can to help my team out and also maintaining good grades. 


VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
I always have fun on the bus rides back from away games. 


VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
Mr. Maldonaldo Sophomore year he always has a smile on his face and can cheer you up if you need it. Also, a very easy person to talk to.


VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Scoring my first ever overtime goal. It was an amazing feeling.


VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Gabe Nunez he is a keeper at Newman now. Every time I had a bad game or even a good game, he kept pushing me because he knew I could do better and that just really motivated me and helped me.


VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
Getting to know everyone and being so close to them and to win with them.


VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
Beijing China, I love the way the streets look and all the buildings especially the Temples. I’m would bring my mom and my brother.


VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
Gas money and a trampoline. I’ve always wanted a trampoline. 


VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?
Yes, at our soccer complex we host camps for younger kids and I will go help them out.
